How does the system work?
The system is designed to enable anyone to
locate a vehicle part by simply entering the name of the Manufacturer
and any additional information about the part. This can include
all (or some) of both the Part Number and Description. If the part
is in
the
database
the
system returns
a list
of all
records
for
that
part
showing
the
quantity available, price (if provided by the dealer) and the City
and Country of its location.
Select the part you are interested in by clicking
on the "For Sale Reference Number" (Column 1). You will
now be asked to Sign In to the system. Obviously until we know
who
you are we cannot e-mail you the full details of the location of
the part. We also need to tell the Dealer who has the part that
you are interested. If you have used the system before use your
User Name (e-mail address) and password to log In. If you are
a
first time user you will need to register. Use the "New User" button.
Once you have Signed In you will go automatically to a summary
page
which contains full details of the part, your details and those
of the Dealer holding the part. At this point you have three options:
• Change your details if you so wish.
• Return to look for another part
• Generate an e-mail to both yourself and the Dealer holding
the part, so that you can start the process of buying the part.
